About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Medical Planner in St. Louis, Missouri who is passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare projects and establishing technical standards. This role focuses on the planning, coordination, and execution of mid-scale to large-scale healthcare projects, ensuring they meet both client and industry expectations.

What You Will Work On:
- Lead projects on the medical planning team, collaborating with firm-wide healthcare practice leaders.
- Effectively communicate planning concepts through verbal, graphic, and written representation.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage project delivery for mid-to-large-scale healthcare projects.
- Work alongside senior professionals to ensure designs and documentation align with project objectives and client expectations.
- Assist in developing healthcare practice standards to optimize processes, systems, and team collaboration.
- Facilitate user group discussions to collect and incorporate medical planning program needs.
- Oversee the technical development of healthcare facility designs, including detailing, quality control, and guiding support staff.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and healthcare regulations.
- Manage project scheduling and staffing in coordination with project managers.
- Continuously seek new knowledge and industry advancements in healthcare architecture.
- Lead issue resolution efforts, ensuring high-quality outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to business development efforts, establishing trust and confidence with clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare medical planning, including master planning and detailed design for radiology/MRI/CT, acute care/med surge patient areas, operating rooms, OR support spaces.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles; LEED accreditation is a plus.
- Professional Architect licensure preferred.
