We are seeking a Mechanical Technician who plays a key part in preparing materials, maintaining a clean work environment, and supporting general repair operations. This is a temporary position for a minimum of 4 months, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Requirements:Duties and Responsibilities
- Cutting and preparing materials required for the winding process
- Insert Nomax into the stators prior to the winding crew beginning their work
- Assist with basic setup and staging of components for the winding team
- Help maintain an efficient workflow by completing pre-winding tasks promptly and accurately
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with industry standards
- Support with basic tasks such as parts washing and component cleaning
- Assist with organizing parts and keeping work areas stocked with needed materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Assist with shop cleanup, tool organization, and material storage.
- Dispose of waste materials properly and follow all safety protocols.

Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Work Environment
- Exposure to hazardous equipment.
- Required use of proper safety equipment (e.g., steel-toed boots, safety glasses) and adherence to safety procedures.
- Exposure to loud noises.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift fifty pounds. -Capability to stand for extended periods.
- Walking, bending, kneeling
- Physical coordination is required for operating machine controls and power tools.
