About the Role:

As a Make Ready Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that residential units are prepared for new tenants in a timely and efficient manner. This position involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that all aspects of the unit meet quality standards and are ready for occupancy. You will work closely with your team to prioritize tasks and address any issues that may arise during the make-ready process. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential, as you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for new residents and maintaining the reputation of the property and our company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in property management or residential maintenance.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units to identify necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform repairs as needed to ensure units are in optimal condition.
  • Paint and clean units to enhance their appearance and ensure they are move-in ready.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services that exceed the technician's capabilities.
  • Conduct regular work orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with property management regarding progress and any issues encountered.
