Job Summary:

***Please note that this position is an in-person, in-office role in our Corporate HQ in Kennesaw, GA. It will have a hybrid schedule, but there is an on-site need 3 days per week. We are not accepting fully remote positions at this time.***

The IT Support Technician provides technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role ensures the smooth operation of IT systems by troubleshooting problems, maintaining equipment, and delivering excellent customer service.

Job Activities and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are subject to change.

  • Handle user inquiries via phone, email, or in person regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Work within our ticketing system to diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly and efficiently.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including setting up user accounts and devices.
  • Document support requests, resolutions, and maintain accurate records in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.
  • Assist with procurement, both in the ordering and setup of new equipment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (degree not required based on relevant experience)
  • Experience: 1-2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience.
  • Skills: 
    • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems.
    • Working knowledge of M365 and related products.
    • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills via telephone and email.
  • Ability to lift forty (40) pounds. Moving, lifting, or carrying boxes.
