Position Overview:
The Tax Manager will oversee client tax compliance, identify planning opportunities, and lead engagement teams while supporting a diverse portfolio of middle-market clients across manufacturing, real estate, construction, and professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage tax engagements and review complex individual, partnership, and entity returns.
● Provide estate, gift, and trust tax planning and compliance support for high-net-worth clients.
● Solve tax and business challenges for clients across multiple industries.
● Lead and mentor Tax Staff and Seniors in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
● Apply strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
● Deliver exceptional client service and support firm leaders in collaborative initiatives.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred.
● Active CPA license required.
● 5+ years of public accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
● Strong understanding of C- and S-Corporations, LLCs, and Partnerships.
● Extensive experience with pass-through entity taxation and partnership matters such as structuring, agreement review, allocations, compliance, and partner transactions.
● Experience with complex individual taxation; estate tax knowledge is a plus.
● Ability to understand client businesses and industry dynamics.
