Retail Key Holder

About this position

The Retail Key Holder will be an integral part of the store's daily operations, responsible for ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. The Key Holder supports team leads and store management by performing opening and closing operations, including security checks, administrative tasks, and deposit management.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other responsibilities may be assigned):

  • Maintain a consistent high level of customer service and productivity working both on the sales floor and in production
  • Participate in training new employees 
  • Performs all opening/ closing duties, including cash reconciliation, bank deposits, safety inspections, etc. 
  • Maintain an open and positive relationship with store management team.
  • Ensure company/store policies and procedures are communicated in a timely manner and adhered to accordingly.
  • Maintain employee attitude and morale by recognizing co-worker’s performance and service; inspire employees so that each person contributes to the productivity of the store.
  • Process damaged and defective goods in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Protect company assets by following and loss prevention procedures; train staff on same.  
  • Models and ensures all policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are communicated effectively to employees, maintained and consistently followed 
  • Works as a part of a high-perming team to achieve store’s sales plan. Supports sales driving initiatives, creates daily agendas and directs selling activities as (MOD)  
  • Other duties as assigned.



Salary Information

$20 - $20 Hourly Wage

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of retail management and 6 months of supervisory experiences is preferred. 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss prevention.
  • Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandising.
  • Ability to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean.
  • Ability to safely lift boxes up to 55 lbs.
