Medical Lab Tech

Lake Regional Health System is looking for a dependable, professional Medical Lab Tech to join our Laboratory Services team. With our state-of-the-art hospital and network of clinics, therapy sites, and pharmacies, Lake Regional offers a wide range of employment opportunities in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives patient specimens, verify proper collection, perform requested procedure(s), perform all necessary documentation accurately, prepare appropriate reagents as required.
• Analyze appropriate controls, instrument checks, calibrations, and maintenance.
• Perform STAT and urgent orders in an appropriate time frame.
• Review results, proficiency testing, quality control, calibrations, and other appropriate information for certification of results.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Associate degree - medical lab science, or MLT (ASCP) or equivalent.
• Annual influenza vaccine required.
