HVAC Sheet Metal Journeyman
Job Description
Innovative Sheet Metal (ISM), a successful and fast-paced commercial contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Installer for commercial and industrial projects in Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas. This is a full-time position for a dependable professional with 5+ years of experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, jobsite safety, and working as part of a team.
Our team works on a wide variety of commercial projects, and we are looking for dependable individuals who are eager to learn, work safely, and take pride in quality work.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial and industrial ductwork and related mechanical systems.
- Read and work from blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Perform layout and installation work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Work professionally with foremen, project managers, other trades, and customers.
- Follow all company safety policies and jobsite requirements.
- Support jobsite productivity by communicating clearly and working as part of a crew.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing commercial and industrial sheet metal work.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work a consistent 40-hour work week.
- Strong work ethic, good attitude, and ability to work well with others.
- Must represent the company professionally at all times.
