Rapidly growing, local manufacturing company is searching for an experienced operations leader to join our team as General Manager for our sheet metal fabrication division (laser, brake, welding, assembly). Role will be focused on driving operational performance, assist in evolving the function strategy, and delivering strong leadership across the division.

Position Responsible For:
Serving the Team
- Lead by example at all times, in all ways; supporting our Servant Leadership model
- Performance & development of manufacturing team, floor supervisors, engineering, and supply chain personnel
Operations
- Setting, aligning manufacturing priorities with key customer needs, and growth strategies
- Operational efficiency, productivity, and workflow planning in all departments
- Divisional OTD, quality, manufacturing flexibility & response
- Delivering culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement
- Capital Expenditures: evaluation, justification, installation
- Divisional planning, inventory, reporting processes
- Facility planning & equipment maintenance
Engineering
- New part development & manufacturability review
- Process improvement and solution focused engineering responses, standards
Financial Performance
- P&L and Budget Responsibilities
- Cost control strategies
- Operational cost analysis
Salary Information
$100000 - $145000

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree (Engineering, Operations Mgmt. or Industrial preferred)
- 6+years progressive contract manufacturing experience, with an emphasis on sheet metal fabrication
- Growth, forward thinking mindset
- High EQ, adept in building relationships to influence results
- Decisive, and organized with strong follow through
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+years operations experience, preferably leadership role
- Prior experience managing budgets, P&Lās
- Prior experience partnering with finance and sales as a part of operational strategy
- Demonstrable change management experience
- Prior education/experience in Lean Manufacturing
- Strong ERP knowledge
