Seasonal Food and Beverage- PM Server (Early May- Mid October) 

Classification 

Part-Time Seasonal, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Food and Beverage Director 

Job Summary 

Promptly greet and provide an exceptional guest experience with the expectation to deliver fine-dining service and hospitality. Typical PM Server hours range from 1:00pm to 12:00am (hours may vary pending service volume).  

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Minimum 2 years of fine dining in a restaurant or club setting
  • Knowledge of fine dining steps of service
  • General knowledge of food preparation
  • Experience with proper wine service
  • Knowledge of craft cocktails, beer and variety of spirits
  • Required to stand for long periods of time
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, squat, lift and raise as needed along with carrying 10 pounds for an extended distance
  • Ability to complete Responsible Beverage Server Training Course
  • General math, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to communicate with guests and employees with a positive attitude

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Consult check lists to ensure all service areas opening and closing procedures are properly completed
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by a manager
  • Check tee sheets and daily events Google Docs for direction and guest payment details 
  • Assist team with table setup configuration as needed
  • Maintain floor presence and greeting guests upon arrival
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly
  • Be knowledgeable of potential food allergens or food sensitivity concerns in available products/menu items. Communicate any guest allergies/needs effectively with all F&B team members as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on current menu choices, allergens, daily specials and menu variations
  • Ensure guests receive food and beverage service in a timely manner
  • Be well-versed and prepared to communicate history, product offerings and services of Erin Hills
  • Learn specialty cocktails, wine and spirits at various locations
  • Accurately prepare mixed drinks/beer/wine for guests while adhering to portion control standards put in place by management
  • Ensure guests are enjoying their dining experience by table touch
  • Handle all payments accurately • Effectively handle guest requests, complaints or problems with a positive attitude
  • Ensure all radio communication is respectful, professional and courteous
  • Responsibly check guests’ identification to ensure that they meet the minimum age requirements to consume alcoholic beverages and tobacco products
  • Respectfully refuse beverage service to guests whom appear overly intoxicated and inform management immediately
  • Adhere to safety standards and sanitation regulations as provided by Erin Hills and OSHA
  • Follow guidelines and policies set forth by Erin Hills Employee Handbook
