About this position
Description:

Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy services under the direction of the office.
- Assist clients with range of motion (ROM) exercises.
- Assist clients with ambulation or exercises.
- Perform personal care activities, including but not limited to:
- Bathing, hair care, skin care, nail care, and oral hygiene
- Shaving
- Dressing
- Perform household services essential to health care at home, including but not limited to:
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Laundry
- Light housekeeping
- Medication Reminders
- Report any observed or reported changes in the client’s condition to the Healthy at Home Caregivers Office.
- Follow all reporting guidelines, including but not limited to
- Any guidelines outlined in the client’s Care Plan
- State required reporting of suspected elder abuse
- Document provided care and completed the necessary forms for the client’s records, including but not limited to:
- Care Provided
- VA Timesheets
- Knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
Salary Information
$19.00 - $24.00
