Gutridge is a leading construction and service company offering Plumbing, Mechanical, Fire Protection, and Electrical services to customers in the greater central Ohio marketplace. As a Plumbing Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, installing, and repairing equipment as needed for each service call. This position also requires participation in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours and emergency service needs.


What Will You Be Earning?

· Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. 

· Compensation is determined by hiring managers and is based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, and the specific demands of the role.


What Are We Looking For? 

  • Provide courteous, professional customer service and address client questions.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install plumbing systems in compliance with applicable codes.
  • Work with various piping materials (PVC, ABS, CPVC, copper, cast iron, steel, stainless) using approved joining methods (gluing, soldering, brazing, Pro-Press, threaded, Victaulic).
  • Complete accurate, legible work orders documenting labor, materials, equipment, and service details.
  • Operate, maintain, and clean tools and equipment; report repair needs and inventory shortages.
  • Maintain an organized, safe work environment and follow all company safety and vehicle policies.
  • Effectively plan, prioritize, and manage workload.

Requirements:

  

What Do We Want To See?

  • High school diploma required; completion of or enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program is considered an asset.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification is desirable.
  • Ability to obtain medical gas certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of plumbing industry experience; commercial service experience is highly valued.
  • DOT and Backflow certifications are considered an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
  • Working knowledge of computers, tablets, and smartphones required.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products is beneficial.
