Marine Diesel technicians familiar with CAT, MAN, JOHN DEERE and other marine engines and generators should apply. Experience in diesel marine engines a must. Applicants should have troubleshooting and diagnostics experience as well as service and repair experience. Experience in load bank testing, diagnostic software, electrical, welding, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs. This position should keep technicians on the shore, but some travel is expected from time to time. Passports are a requirement. Successful applicants will pass pre-employment background checks.
Field Service Work: Repair and perform preventive maintenance in the field on main engines, generators, and electrical systems.
Customer Service Excellence: Provide outstanding service while interacting with customers and their representatives, ensuring their marine engines operate at peak performance.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with supervisors and other technicians to ensure clear and timely communication of job progress.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years, (Preferably 5 years) of experience in marine diesel engine repair (familiarity with brands like CAT, MAN, John Deere, and Volvo is preferred).
Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
Physical Stamina: This position requires physical strength to lift heavy equipment, bend, and maneuver in tight spaces.
Travel Flexibility: Some travel is required, including occasional out-of-town or international trips – a valid passport is necessary.
