General Service Laborer

SUMMARY: 

Isolatek is looking for a full-time 2nd shift General Service Laborer at our  Stanhope, NJ location. 

Shift hours are 3:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. OT is available  

REPORTS TO:

Regional Operations Manager 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Read work orders and follow oral instructions to load and/or store raw materials and finished   goods  

• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets—approx. 55 lb. bags  

• Load and unload materials into or from vehicles  

• Train for and maintain certification as a forklift operator  

•  Perform pre/post operating inspection of forklift truck  

• Count and record the number of bags produced  

• Submit all loading sheets and production reports to the supervisor upon completion of shift  

• Clean work area, machines, and equipment  

• Participate on 5s teams  

• Fill in on production line when required

• Other duties as assigned by Supervisors.

EXPERIENCE: 

•1-3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.  

KNOWLEDGE: 

•High school diploma or GED required

The base salary of $27.41 per hour for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, actual compensation may vary and will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to, the applicant’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors. Isolatek reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on company and personal performance.
