We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Supervisor (Nursing Supervisor) to join our Hospice team in our Moorpark office. This full-time, exempt role is responsible for ensuring that patient care is coordinated, managed, and delivered appropriately while providing supervision and leadership to clinical personnel.
The Clinical Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining high standards of hospice care, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration, and promoting quality outcomes for patients and families.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Receive and review case referrals, including conducting home visits as needed to determine hospice/home care needs.
- Assign appropriate hospice personnel to cases and confer with the Medical Director regarding eligibility questions.
- Review and evaluate cases through home visits, conferences, record reviews, and clinician feedback to ensure quality of care.
- Guide and instruct clinicians to promote effective performance and service delivery.
- Review patient diagnoses, prognosis, medications, procedures, and clinical course.
- Assist clinicians in establishing therapeutic goals, setting priorities, and developing individualized plans of care.
- Attend and facilitate interdisciplinary case conferences.
- Conduct quarterly record reviews and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and staff.
- Assist in screening, interviewing, hiring recommendations, and orientation of new employees.
- Support planning, implementation, and evaluation of in-service and continuing education programs.
- Participate in policy development, revision, and organizational goal setting.
- Promote professional standards, customer service, and hospice philosophy.
- Participate actively in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs.
- Engage in community outreach and public relations activities.
- Perform additional duties as delegated by the Clinical Director/Director of Patient Care Services.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary: $93,600.00 annually

Position Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a professional nurse within the last three (3) years.
- Supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Hospice experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong understanding of hospice philosophy, death and dying, and pain/symptom management principles.
- Excellent observation, nursing judgment, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable automobile in good working condition.
- Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
