About this position
Position Overview
PBACO is seeking a highly strategic, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Chief of Staff / Executive Assistant to support the Chief Provider & Practice Success Officer (CPPSO). This newly created role is designed to serve as a force multiplier for executive leadership as PBACO scales its national provider and practice success strategy.
This individual will operate at both a strategic and operational level — managing executive priorities, driving cross-functional initiatives, improving internal systems, and ensuring seamless execution of high-impact projects. The role requires discretion, business acumen, strong project management skills, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Support
- Partner closely with the CPPSO to prioritize and execute department initiatives aligned with PBACO’s national growth strategy.
- Drive execution of strategic projects related to provider engagement, practice optimization, performance improvement, and value-based care expansion.
- Track KPIs, dashboards, and reporting metrics for provider and practice success initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, briefing materials, board-ready reports, and strategic communications.
- Identify process gaps and implement scalable operational improvements as the department grows.
Executive Support
- Manage complex calendar, travel, and meeting logistics for the CPPSO.
- Prepare agendas, capture action items, and ensure follow-through on key decisions.
- Serve as gatekeeper and strategic liaison across internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Anticipate executive needs and proactively manage competing priorities.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Clinical, Operations, Finance, IT, Growth, and Compliance teams to align on initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between field providers, practice leadership, and corporate teams.
- Support onboarding and engagement strategies for new practices as PBACO expands nationally.
- Ensure alignment between provider performance initiatives and enterprise goals.
Special Projects
- Lead and manage high-priority projects as assigned.
- Support national expansion efforts including due diligence, integration planning, and rollout coordination.
- Develop and maintain standardized documentation, workflows, and process maps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience supporting C-suite or senior executive leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex calendars, executive communications, and high-level meeting coordination.
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare executive-ready materials and correspondence.
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence when handling confidential matters.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with collaboration tools such as Teams or similar platforms preferred.
- Ability to anticipate needs, think proactively, and operate independently with minimal oversight.
- Experience in healthcare is a plus but not required.
