We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Receiving Technician to join our team.

  

Job Summary: The Pharmacy Receiving Technician is responsible for accurately receiving, verifying, and stocking pharmaceutical deliveries. This role ensures that all received medications and supplies follow company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify incoming pharmaceutical deliveries      against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality, and      compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Properly label and store medications and supplies in      designated areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of received items,      discrepancies, and any returns to vendors.
  • Collaborate with the inventory management team to      ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
  • Ensure the receiving area is clean, organized, and free      of hazards.
  • Follow safety protocols and standard operating      procedures at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, pharmacists,      and other team members to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Assist with other pharmacy tasks as directed by the Production      Manager/Fulfillment Manager. 
  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 30 lbs, stand,      and walk for extended periods.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting      preferred.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and inventory      management practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
