Job Summary:
We are seeking a sales and investor relations professional to lead and expand our capital raising efforts among institutional investors, investment consultants, and registered investment advisors (RIAs). This is a strategic, externally facing role that requires strong relationship-building, communication, and capital markets acumen. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, cultivating, and managing investor relationships across the U.S., with a focus on capital formation for real estate funds and separate accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Outreach & Capital Raising
o Identify and engage prospective institutional investors, including pensions, endowments, foundations, investment consultants, family offices, RIAs
o Lead fundraising efforts across active and upcoming investment vehicles, including closed-end funds, open-end funds, and separate accounts
o Develop customized pitch materials in concert with the investment team and coordinate investor presentations, diligence responses, and RFPs
Relationship Management
o Build long-term strategic relationships with capital allocators and gatekeepers
o Maintain CRM database with detailed activity logs, follow-ups, and investor preferences
o Attend conferences and networking events to expand reach and represent the firm
Market Intelligence & Strategy
o Track capital markets trends and investor sentiment related to real estate allocations, communicating key updates regarding fund and/or asset performance, and market trends impacting returns and Peak strategic planning
o Provide strategic input on investment product positioning, structuring, and fundraising strategy
o Coordinate closely with senior leadership and marketing to refine messaging and outreach plans; collaborate with marketing to create investor-facing materials such as pitch decks, investment memoranda, and quarterly reports
Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Liaise with investment, asset management, and operations teams to communicate firm strategy and track record to prospects
o Collaborate on investor reporting, due diligence materials, and compliance requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong demonstration of existing network of investors and capital partners
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and investor reporting platforms
Education and Experience
3 to 7 years of experience in business development, investor relations, B2B sales, or real estate investment sales
Bachelors degree in finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field
