As Facilities Manager, US, you’ll provide strategic leadership for maintenance, capital projects, budgeting, and vendor management—ensuring our campuses run smoothly and support the company’s growth and mission.


What You’ll Do:

  • Provide operational leadership and administration for facilities trades maintenance and operations across all VB Spine US locations, including strategic planning, budget oversight, policy development, and daily decision-making
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and leadership team to develop and execute long-term strategic plans, set measurable departmental goals, and implement policies and procedures that promote excellence and accountability
  • Direct and supervise vendors and contractors—handling recruitment, onboarding, training, invoicing, performance monitoring, and final inspections—while fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement
  • Support the implementation of training and certification programs to build technical skills and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Partner with the operations team to manage preventive maintenance programs, prioritizing and executing short- and long-term on-site maintenance to preserve and enhance equipment and infrastructure
  • Drive improvement and optimization of facilities systems, including work order management, asset tracking, and contract standardization, while promoting data-driven decisions and transparency
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments and stakeholders to understand needs, align priorities with company goals, and deliver responsive, customer-focused facilities services
  • Oversee budget development for departmental expenses and capital projects in collaboration with leadership
  • Manage capital projects, space planning/utilization, and project management initiatives
  • Perform basic-level preventive maintenance tasks as needed and take on additional assignments with an entrepreneurial approach

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, construction management, or a comparable combination of education and experience including supervision and management of personnel and construction projects
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with increasing responsibility and supervision across multiple locations
  • Proven leadership in managing complex maintenance operations, capital projects, SOP development, and budget management
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships at all levels
  • Willingness and skill to perform daily basic-level equipment preventive maintenance
  • Experience in space planning/utilization and project management
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ability to quickly learn new software, and basic knowledge of business/accounting practices
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Technological fluency in data management, planning, and reporting tools
  • Proven experience working effectively with contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies
  • Advanced degree in engineering, architecture, or construction project management (preferred)
  • Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)

  • Sufficient mobility to navigate throughout office buildings and work areas
  • Visual acuity to read and review printed documents and materials
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and related devices

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, with additional factors like qualifications, performance, and market conditions taken into account. The typical pay range for this position is $145,000 - $155,370 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis.
