About this position

At TPH, our purpose is to lead the world in the holistic development of student-athletes, advancing – in and beyond the game – the next generation of impact players. We are an academy-style athletics program that enables the opportunity to develop athletics, academics, and character while helping student-athletes achieve their long term athletic goals.

Are you a visual storyteller with a passion for content creation and a deep-rooted interest in hockey and the sports world? Do you thrive on capturing compelling moments and sharing authentic narratives? TPH Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and experienced Part-Time Content Creator to bring the unique journey of our student-athletes to life!

This is a chance to be the visual voice of a leading academic and athletic program. You will be on the front lines, documenting the dedication, triumphs, and daily life that define the TPH Academy experience.

The Role: Visual Storyteller

As our Part-Time Content Creator, you will be responsible for capturing, curating, and sharing the diverse stories of TPH Academy student-athletes, their families, and our alumni across various digital platforms. Your mission is to connect our community and showcase the TPH difference—the balance of academic rigor, elite athletic development, and personal growth.

Core Responsibilities and Duties

  • Content Capture: Proactively seek out and capture high-quality photo and video content of student-athletes in action (training, classroom, and community events).
  • Storytelling: Develop compelling short-form narratives, captions, and posts that tell the authentic stories of individual student-athletes and the Academy as a whole.
  • Social Media Management: Post content regularly and consistently across TPH Academy social media channels (e.g., Instagram, X, TikTok, Facebook). Monitor engagement and trends to maximize reach.
  • Event Coverage: Attend and cover Academy-specific events, including daytime training sessions, academic activities, and on-site events, requiring daytime availability.
  • Editing and Production: Edit photos and videos into engaging, polished content suitable for social media distribution.
  • Alumni Spotlight: Help track and create features on TPH Academy alumni to inspire current and future student-athletes.
