Job Title: Material handler II
Department: Warehouse 
Location: Newark 

Job Overview: The Material Handler responsible for a variety of physical tasks involved in order fulfillment with Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Planning groups to support the daily production schedule. The Material Handler I drives a truck or van to deliver or pick up materials and may load and unload vehicle and assist with shipment preparation. Reports to Logistics Supervisor and is in Newark, CA

1. Perform order fulfillment physical tasks:                           

  • Perform kit pulls and material movements in support of Warehouse, Planning, and Manufacturing per customer requirements 
  • Backfill material shortages in cooperation with Warehouse, move material with the use of carts, hand trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks; perform company deliveries and pickups using a company vehicle 

2. Provide team support                               

  • Share best practices, assist in minor troubleshooting       
  • Actively participate in cross-training        

Other duties and responsibilities related to Material Handling, as assigned            

Required Education and Experience:

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. Minimum one year of related experience and/or training
