PCT Ebeam and Integration seeks a Project Manager to join our team. This role manages both internal and commercial projects throughout the project life cycle. Communicates extensively with the end customer throughout the project to ensure the final deliverable meets the customer’s technical and financial goals. Coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver on time and on budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.Defines with the customer and sales staff the scope of the project. Creates a detailed work plan (WBS) that identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete and deliver the project scope

2.Determines the resources required to complete the project (project team), meets with appropriate managers to request resources and develops a schedule for project completion that utilizes the assigned resources given by the resource managers.

3.Monitors both the technical and commercial progress of the project and adjusts as necessary to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project schedule.

4.Establishes and implements project communication plans including schedule updates to internal project team at least biweekly and ensures that project decisions are communicated to the project team.

5.Communicates regularly with external customer and provides updates on project schedule and scope.

6.Maintains budget, performs month-end job projections with estimates to complete and reports variances to the Director of Controlling and Finance

7.Identifies changes in scope, collects change orders from the customer to cover extra costs and/or changes in schedule

8.Holds various project meetings including but not limited to kickoff meeting, stand up meetings and retrospective meeting.

9.Conducts project risk assessments; reports identified risks to Director of Project Management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.

10.May perform as a technical resource on a project.

11.Responsible for cleaning off job shelf once the project has shipped as well as working with engineering, supply chain, and production to evaluate parts that were not needed or used.

Requirements:

Requires education generally equivalent to a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with courses in engineering and business management with five to seven years previous experience preferably in a manufacturing environment performing Project Management. Project Management Professional certification is not required but is a plus.
