Who you are...

• You have an extensive background in fitness instructor-related positions and administrative duties, ideally you have supervisory or lead level experience
• You have a current membership in a fitness center, or have a strong knowledge of fitness center operations; fitness industry and resort and/or high-end club related service experience strongly preferred
• You hold fitness instructor certifications
• You have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• You have excellent communication skills, a customer service focus and strong interpersonal abilities
• You exhibit effective conflict resolution, problem solving, decision-making and time management skills
• You are energetic, inspiring and adventurous and present a professional appearance and pleasant, positive demeanor and attitude
• You work well independently, and in a task-oriented, team environment, developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
• You are computer proficient
• You are available to work a varying schedule as business needs dictate
• You have a high school diploma or equivalency degree
• You love to have fun while you’re at work!

  What you’ll do...

• Assist with overseeing all fitness program offerings at Tetherow Sport, both class instruction and personal training for members and guests
• Monitor the scheduling, appearance, standards and performance of fitness instructor and personal trainer team members
• Be a direct contact for the fitness instructor team, addressing scheduling challenges and ensuring adequate staffing for fitness instruction activities
• Help build a network of area instructors to provide enticing and effective program offerings
• Perform regular checks of fitness equipment and facilities, ensuring cleanliness and safety and enforcing all rules and regulations
• Assist Tetherow Sport management with scheduling and other operational tasks, as needed
• Communicate clearly and develop strong working relationships with all team members, contributing to a positive and cohesive working environment and positive morale
• Handle complaints and problems in a professional manner to ensure a successful outcome
• Assist in the recruitment and training of new fitness team members
