Your Role as a Receptionist:
As a Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. Your professionalism and attentiveness set the tone for a welcoming and supportive environment. You will manage front office operations efficiently while ensuring client needs are met with care and urgency.
Key Responsibilities & Performance Expectations:
Client Engagement: Greet all clients warmly, direct them appropriately, and notify therapists of arrivals promptly.
Administrative Excellence: Maintain the front office area, handle paperwork, and ensure all legal and departmental documents are scanned daily.
Communication & Coordination: Answer phone calls professionally and route them efficiently. Facilitate in-person client payments and manage client schedules using the Credible Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Operational Efficiency: Keep intake packets prepared, ensure timely mailing of case closure letters, and manage incoming/outgoing correspondence.
Crisis Support: Implement crisis protocols for clients in need of urgent services, escalating concerns as necessary to leadership.
Office Maintenance: Keep the reception area tidy, maintain the coffee station, and oversee office supply needs including printer upkeep and stamp machine maintenance.
What You Bring to the Team:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Two years of office experience
Preferred Experience:
One year in a clinical or behavioral health setting
Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR)
