Job Summary:
The title clerk is responsible for the daily operation of title processing, GAP and Warranty Services, the forced placed insurance program, and collections duties. The title clerk will be detail oriented and accurate with his/her work. The primary duties of the title clerk are designed to mitigate any Credit Union losses on collateralized loans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Process all title applications in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process, verify, and accurately file incoming titles for the loan department.
- Process all title releases in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage the forced placed insurance program on collateralized loans.
- Process debt protection payments.
- Process GAP and Warranty Service payments.
- Balance all appropriate G.L.’s on a monthly basis.
- Follow accurate reporting procedures regarding collection activities.
- Prepare and analyze reports for senior management and/or the Board.
- Process all notices and documentation required for collection accounts.
- Conduct effective control and/or collection procedures for late and/or delinquent or potentially delinquent loans.
- Conduct all collection processes.
- Conduct and/or assist with mail or email transactions.
- Perform any other assignments, projects, and duties as required/assigned by management.
Salary Information
$16.0 - $19.0
