Position Summary
This is a sales-driven inspection role with a strong technical foundation.
As a Specialty Sales Inspector, your primary focus will be rodent inspections and exclusion sales, supported by termite and bed bug inspections. You will act as a trusted advisor — educating homeowners, identifying entry points and risk factors, and presenting clear, professional solutions that protect their home long-term.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consultative sales, problem-solving, and face-to-face customer presentations backed by real inspection findings.
Key Responsibilities
Rodent-Focused Sales & Inspections
Conduct comprehensive rodent inspections, with a strong emphasis on:
Identifying entry points, harborage areas, and structural vulnerabilities
Evaluating attic, crawlspace, roofline, and exterior conditions
Educate customers on how rodents enter, why the issue is occurring, and how exclusion prevents recurrence
Build and present inspection reports proposing custom rodent exclusion solutions, clearly explaining scope, value, and long-term protection
Termite & Bed Bug Services
Perform thorough termite and bed bug inspections when needed
Diagnose infestation conditions and contributing factors
Present treatment and prevention options in a clear, confident, and professional manner
Consultative Sales & Customer Education
Deliver in-home presentations that translate inspection findings into actionable solutions
Reinforce the value of recurring protection and preventative services, not one-time fixes
Answer customer questions with confidence and clarity, building trust and credibility
Documentation & Collaboration
Accurately document findings, recommendations, and job scope
Work closely with production teams to ensure proper execution of sold services
Maintain compliance with safety regulations, licensing, and industry standards
Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License
Valid Registered Technician Card (or ability to obtain)
Ability to obtain Certified Applicator certifications (Pest & Wood) within 6 months
Experience with rodent exclusion, termite, and/or bed bug services preferred
Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, on ladders, and on roofs
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and influence customers
Sales confidence rooted in knowledge and customer education
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
