Position Overview
The Director, Regional Enterprise Sales, is a senior sales leadership role responsible for driving enterprise growth across a multi-state region. This leader will oversee a geographically dispersed team of Regional Enterprise Account Executives, develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies, and directly engage in high-value customer interactions to close complex, multi-location opportunities.
This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, hands-on deal execution, and cross-functional collaboration, with accountability for revenue performance, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy across the assigned region. The Director plays a critical role in shaping market strategy, developing top sales talent, and strengthening long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and exceed new-business sales targets across a multi-state enterprise territory.
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed team of Regional Enterprise Account Executives.
- Establish regional territory plans, coverage models, and account strategies aligned to enterprise growth objectives.
- Engage directly with enterprise customers, serving as an executive sponsor and playing an active role in closing complex, high-value deals.
- Provide leadership oversight for the review and approval of contracts, MSAs, and complex commercial agreements.
- Drive disciplined pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and forecasting accuracy across the region.
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to continuously refine regional sales strategies.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top enterprise sales talent while fostering a performance-driven, collaborative culture.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to ensure a cohesive enterprise approach.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling and delivering enterprise-level electronic security and life-safety solutions.
- 5+ years of proven success meeting or exceeding high sales quotas within complex, multi-location accounts or comparable enterprise markets.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams across multiple states or geographies.
- Strong background in consultative, solutions-based selling and complex deal negotiation.
- Proven ability to analyze sales performance metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Successful track record in prospecting, networking, and enterprise lead generation.
- Experience developing and executing comprehensive account strategies and long-term customer partnerships.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
