About this position
Do you love turning chaos into clarity? Are you the kind of person who enjoys solving puzzles, keeping things moving, and making sure everyone has what they need before they need it? If so, we’d love to meet you.
We’re looking for an Operations Production Planner who thrives at the center of operations—connecting people, schedules, materials, and data to keep production running smoothly and customers happy.
Requirements:What You’ll Be Doing
As our Production Planner, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps the factory humming:
- Build and adjust daily and weekly production schedules that align customer demand with inventory
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Sales, and Logistics to make sure materials and resources are ready when needed
- Spot delays or supply issues early and help pivot plans to keep things on track
- Track production output, inventory usage, and performance metrics (yes—your attention to detail matters here!)
- Support and improve ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience is a big plus)
- Create and share reports on efficiency, downtime, and output
- Help drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and safety
- Make sure production teams have the right design prints and assembly instructions
- Be a positive, steady communicator who helps teams stay aligned and supported
What Makes You a Great Fit
You don’t need to know everything—but you should enjoy learning, collaborating, and taking initiative.
You’ll do great here if you have:
- Experience working with an ERP or MRP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus)
- Comfort using Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft tools
- The ability to read and understand customer orders, inventory levels, BOMs, and production reports
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A detail-oriented, analytical mindset
- A proactive, self-starter attitude—you don’t wait to be told what needs fixing
Bonus points for:
- 3–5 years of production planning or related experience
- Knowledge of MPS, BOMs, and inventory records
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
The Work Environment
You’ll spend time both at a desk and on the production floor. That means:
- Occasional standing, reaching, bending, and light lifting
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment (PPE like safety glasses and hearing protection provided)
- A fast-paced setting where teamwork really matters
Why You’ll Like Working Here
- Your work directly impacts production success
- You’ll collaborate with multiple teams and never feel siloed
- Your ideas for improvement are welcomed
- You’ll be trusted to own your role and make a difference
