Housekeeper Full Time and Part Time

Housekeeping Associate – Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites (San Diego, CA)

We’re hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to support both Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites. This is a multi-role position offering variety, teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our guests’ experience.

What You’ll Do

As a Housekeeping Associate, you’ll be trained across several key areas of our department, including:

• Guest room cleaning, sanitizing, and organization to brand standards
• Public space upkeep (hallways, landings, restrooms, vending areas)
• Linen handling: sorting, folding, stocking, and trash removal
• Laundry services and houseperson duties
• Guest interaction and service recovery when needed
• Maintaining proper uniform and grooming standards

You may be assigned to different roles or properties (Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites) depending on operational needs.

Language & Communication

• Ability to read and interpret safety protocols and procedure manuals
• Comfortable communicating with guests and team members
• Able to log work orders and maintain records

Experience & Qualifications

• One year of housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
• Any combination of education and experience that supports success in the role
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs (occasionally up to 80 lbs)
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, cleaning chemicals, and occasional outdoor conditions
• May work in high places or around vibration
• Typically a quiet environment with solo work expected
