About this position
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Lift Operator to operate lifting equipment and ensure the smooth, secure movement of materials or products, depending on the setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, good coordination, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate lift equipment (e.g., forklifts, aerial lifts, ski lifts, construction hoists) safely and efficiently
Load, transport, and unload materials or personnel as directed
Conduct pre-operation checks and routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper function
Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediately
Follow all safety regulations, operational procedures, and company policies
Keep work areas clean and free of obstacles
Assist with other general labor or operational tasks as needed
Communicate clearly with team members to coordinate lifting operations
Maintain accurate logs or records if required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience operating lift machinery (top pick, forklift, boom lift, etc.) is highly desirable
Relevant certification or operator’s license (e.g., OSHA forklift certification)
Strong awareness of safety procedures and attention to detail
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand or operate machinery for extended periods
Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:
