DroneShield’s American operations are headquartered in Warrenton, Virginia, home to a growing team of approximately 30 highly skilled professionals. This office plays a critical role in the company’s global success, leading U.S.-focused R&D, sales, and customer support, and working closely with American defense and security stakeholders to deliver mission-critical counter-drone solutions tailored to local operational needs.

The Warrenton, Virginia office is central to DroneShield’s long-term U.S. strategy - bringing innovation closer to the customer, strengthening domestic capability, and supporting national security, public safety, and critical infrastructure protection outcomes across the United States.
About the role
DroneShield is looking to recruit a Senior Corporate Accountant whose responsibilities will be critical in helping the business run smoothly during its next phase of growth. This position will be part of the finance team and will report to the head of reporting. This role will be based in our Warrenton, VA office and will require being onsite 5 days a week.
Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations
- Prepare month-end management accounts for the USA office
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare sales invoices
- Manage accounts receivable, including chasing overdue receipts
- Manage corporate credit cards
- Liase with accounts payable team located in Australia for accurate recognition of expenses
- Process payroll for approx. 30 employees
- Work with the Tax Administration and Compliance Assistant, based in USA, on all USA tax related matters.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions
- Provide training on finance related policies
- Raise purchase orders and process payments
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- 5 days working from the office
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with systems such as SAP or Oracle is beneficial, however not a prerequisite.
