The Senior Company is on the hunt for a dedicated Training & Orientation RN to join our dynamic team! If you're passionate about supporting new and existing employees by ensuring they are well-trained and oriented to company policies and procedures, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We're looking to fill a full time schedule (9am - 5pm) which can be a single full-time salaried person or split between multiple part-time employees. 

Location & Hours:

  • Office Location: Springfield, NJ
  • 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday
Salary & Benefits
  • Annual Salary for Full Time: $80,000 to $86,000 based on experience.
  • Hourly Rate for Part Time: $40 - $45

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the hiring process by verifying document compliance and conducting New Hire Skills Tests and Hands-On Assessments.
  • Lead New Hire Orientation and ensure all employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally within the field to conduct supervisions, retrain, and orient field staff when needed (gas and mileage reimbursement provided).
  • Assist with the development and administration of training and orientation policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate in-service training and maintain documentation to ensure CAHC compliance.
  • Perform Nursing Supervisor duties as needed, providing leadership and guidance to staff.
  • Ensure the consistent application of universal precautions, aseptic techniques, and infection control guidelines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage stressful situations effectively, maintaining professionalism and clear communication at all times.
  • Uphold confidentiality for all employee and client records.
  • Maintain productivity while managing time effectively and utilizing resources efficiently.
  • Consistently demonstrate professionalism in appearance, communication, and work performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active RN license in good standing in the state of New Jersey.
  • In lieu of a BS degree, 3 years of professional RN experience in community health and/or home health, with progressive responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff and clients.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks that may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage stress effectively.
  • Professionalism in all aspects of the role.
