We are looking for hardworking, dependable people to support the Production Department of Morrison Cup Solutions. This role is a full-time position with excellent benefits. The schedule is Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30pm 

 

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  

· Operate a foam densifier machine to process non-shippable   foam products into compacted or densified blocks

· Operate a plastic shredder machine to reduce plastic scrap into reusable or   recyclable material

· Monitor machine performance, material flow, temperatures, and output quality during   operation

· Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain efficient and consistent operation

· Remove finished densified foam blocks and shredded plastic material from equipment

· Stack, band, and palletize recycled material for storage or shipment

· Build,  label, and stage pallets of recycled products in designated warehouse areas

· Transport  materials using pallet jacks or forklifts as required

· Follow  all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements

· Identify  and report equipment malfunctions, jams, abnormal noises, or safety hazards

· Ensure  only approved materials are processed through the densifier and shredder

· Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance on equipment

· Clear jams and remove debris in accordance with safety procedures

· Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of trip or fire hazards

    

The Operator I must possess the following qualifications:

· Dependable (must be to work on time) and cover shifts if necessary

· Mechanically inclined

· Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, stacking, and standing for extended periods

· Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred, but not required

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

· Commitment to safety and teamwork

· Must be able to work independently without supervision
