 The Senior Food & Beverage Director is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational excellence of all food and beverage outlets, restaurants, and banquet events across the property. This role ensures attentive, gracious, and efficient service while maintaining alignment with budgeted payroll and overhead costs. The Senior Food & Beverage Director drives revenue growth, oversees the delivery of consistently high-quality food and beverage offerings, and fosters a culture of service excellence and team development. This leader is instrumental in enhancing both guest satisfaction and employee engagement, while advancing the property’s reputation as a premier luxury destination.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for all food and beverage operations including restaurants, lounges/bars, in-room dining, and banquet/catering events.
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, control expenses, and achieve financial goals while ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
  • Direct, supervise, and support all F&B associates, creating an environment of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion guest satisfaction by responding to guest needs and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee the development and execution of banquet and event service operations, ensuring flawless service and execution for group and social events.
  • Prepare and manage annual departmental budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses.
  • Partner with Human Resources to recruit, select, train, and retain top talent across all outlets and F&B operations.
  • Ensure all F&B areas maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety, adhering to regulatory compliance and brand guidelines.

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Extensive leadership experience in luxury and/or independent hotels with oversight of multi-outlet restaurants and banquet operations.
  • Holds and maintains all applicable certifications, including Food Handler’s, Alcohol Awareness, etc.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale F&B operations including restaurants, bars, banquet/catering, and in-room dining.
  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to analyze financial data, forecast performance, and implement cost controls without compromising quality.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, resolve conflicts, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving revenue, elevating guest experiences, and enhancing employee engagement.
