1st Shift Yard Jockey

Morrison Cup Solutions is a fast-growing Oklahoma City based foodservice packaging company. We are looking for a hardworking, dependable person with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support the Foam Department of Morrison Cup Solutions. This is a first shift position with hours from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional over-time. No weekends. Full-time position with excellent benefits.  

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:  

• Trailer movement- safely move trailers to and from loading docks, staging areas and parking spots within the yard 
• Forklift Operation-operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trailers, trucks and storage areas 
• Inventory Management-assist with inventory control by accurately recording material movements and ensuring proper storage  
• Safety Compliance-adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment  
• Equipment Maintenance-Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition 
• Collaboration- work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to coordinate yard and warehouse activities. 

The Yard Jockey must possess the following qualities: 

• Dependable (must be at work on time)  
• Must have a valid driver license 
• Must have at least 1 year of yard jockey and warehouse experience 
• Must have at least 2 years of sit down forklift, spotter truck, manual pallet jack and auto pallet jack experience 
• Must be able to drive a yard dog and back 53’ trailers 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions 
• Must be able to stand or walk up to 10 hours per day 
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs 
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment 
• Must be able to climb in and out of trailers safely 
• Forklift Certification a plus
