About this position

 

To provide a professional, courteous and efficient service to Cadogan Tate’s clients, vendors and employees, while performing a client management support function.  

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as Business Administration or Art
  • Experience in Logistics, Fine Art and Interior Design is beneficial
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and internal computer software, Moveware / Studio (training will be provided)
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and spoken
  • An excellent telephone manner that is polite and courteous at all times
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills – Ability to multi-task as required
  • Three to five years of logistical, warehousing and art handling experience, including packing preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to accurately execute detailed paperwork
  • Team player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable in a results-driven workplace

 

Key Responsibilities  

 

  • Able to manage small jobs from quote stage to billing completion. Also, able to manage large projects with supervision.
  • Works closely with the packing department and handles majority of small parcel interstate FedEx air shipments.
  • Supporting Account Managers with their day-to-day workload including setting up client files, creating purchase orders, entering Studio data, producing bill of ladings and generating invoices
  • Liaising with the Dispatch and Operational departments regarding collections, deliveries and packing requirements ensuring the client’s expectations are met
  • Ensuring the department calls are handled in a prompt and professional manner
  • Assisting General Manager, VP of Client Services and Director when required
  • Taking care and focusing attention on all administrative duties to ensure accuracy

 

General 

  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures, and all other Company policies and procedures in place
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • To act at all times in the best interests of Cadogan Tate, its customers and its employees
  • 3-5 years of experience in Logistics, Fine Art, Interior Design, and art handling experience, including packing preferred.

 

Operating Dimension/Decision Making Authority 

 

All decisions to be reviewed by manager initially. Once a level of operating authority has been reached decision making authority level will be reviewed and agreed.
