Job Summary: 

The Program Manager – Hospitals and Sheltered Production overseas and manages Goodwill’s hospital group worksites and the sheltered production programs. This position supervises job coaches and sheltered employees; ensures compliance with applicable federal and state regulations as well as contract requirements; and provides training and support for all program participants. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and manage community/facility-based vocational programs, including hospital groups and sheltered production worksites.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise program staff, ensuring proper training to support work readiness and skill development.
  • Oversee the fulfillment of community-based work to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate programs and services for all participants, ensuring person-centered planning is conducted when not completed by funding or referral sources.
  • Implement program goals using prescribed strategies and methods.
  • Attend planning meetings and provide progress updates on supported workers.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in preparing monthly invoices for services provided.
  • Ensure quality assurance for individual files and maintain documentation according to organizational guidelines.
  • Enforce and provide training on safety policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Complete and submit all incident and accident reports as required.
  • Maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications and administer First Aid/CPR when necessary; Goodwill will provide training upon hire.
  • Facilitate referrals to additional community resources or Goodwill programs for supported workers when additional services are required.
  • Assure compliance with Goodwill’s Safety Program and participate on the Safety as requested.
  • Work directly with supported workers when needed.
  • Provide support across other programs by covering direct support shifts as needed to ensure continuity of services.

 

 Other Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Provide transportation for supported workers as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Education & Certifications 

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with employment barriers preferred; experience with individuals with developmental disabilities strongly preferred.
  • Related experience may be substituted for advanced education on a year-for-year basis


Physical Requirements 


  • Abilities required: balancing, talking, hearing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, finger dexterity, feeling, and vision.
  • Strength requirements: Light Work – exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, and/or negligible amounts constantly for walking, standing, or moving objects.


Special Requirements 

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Maintain legally required vehicle insurance, inspection, and registration.
  • Eligible for a positive outcome on the State of Oklahoma criminal background check.
  • Must comply with Goodwill’s Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Position is safety-sensitive due to duties that may affect employee or participant's safety and health.
  • Maintain required immunization records or approved waivers.
