HR Operations Intern
Position Summary
The HR Operations Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day HR operations while working closely with the HR team. This role provides exposure to HR systems, employee records management, onboarding support, compliance processes, and special projects that support a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding activities, including preparing new-hire paperwork, I-9 support, orientations, and employee record updates
- Support HR operations tasks such as scanning and maintaining employee files, auditing records, and updating data in HR systems
- Provide administrative support for benefits enrollment documentation, employee status changes, and HR reporting
- Assist with employee relations and engagement initiatives as assigned
- Support HR projects and operational initiatives, including process improvement and documentation
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Human Resources or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (word and Excel)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work on-site.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Work is performed in a office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to lift 50lb and must have knowledge of computers and be proficient in word and Excel.
