Our Residential Licensed Practical Nurses are at the forefront of care delivery - actively collaborating with our treatment team to ensure successful outcomes for the clients we support.

What We Require for this Role:
- LVN Diploma or Associate’s Degree and valid LPN license in the State of Ohio.
- Experience in a residential treatment setting is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Tuberculosis Skin Test and Influenza (Flu) vaccination within the past year;
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
- Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
Key Job Duties:
- Medication Management - Organize, document, and set up medications for daily witnessed self-administration. Administer parenteral injections, including insulin, LAIM, atypical, Naltrexone, etc. Facilitate E-prescriptions as ordered by residential medical providers. Educate clients on medications ordered for them. Ensure that clients have necessary medications prepared for them during stay and upon discharge.
- Assess and Monitor Client Health - Perform withdrawal scales such as COWS, CIWA-R, and other clinical tools/rating scales. Conduct clinical diagnostic tools such as FSG (finger stick glucose), BAL (breathalyzers), and vital signs assessments. Communicate any changes in clients' medical, medication, or psychiatric status to the unit medical providers.
- Educate and train residential treatment staff in various procedures, including taking vital signs, performing diagnostic tests, and supervising patient self-administration of medications.
- Lead educational groups for residential patients to support their recovery journey.
