POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President of Growth leads the strategic vision, portfolio performance, and execution alignment across Avenue Z’s Managed Services division.
This Miami-based, in-office role is a results-driven strategy position, not a people management role.
The VP operates as the portfolio growth architect across the entire funnel, identifying constraints, building CRO roadmaps, unlocking scale, and ensuring measurable impact across paid media, direct response, ecommerce strategy, retention, design, and development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and drive the strategic growth vision across Managed Services accounts
- Build structured CRO roadmaps, including testing prioritization and execution sequencing
- Consulting with highest profile clients on Ecommerce strategy, CRO, Marketing Strategy, and Marketing Metrics (Blended CAC, NC CAC, MER, ROAS)
- Conduct deep data analysis across paid, site performance, retention, and conversion metrics
- Identify a brands’ scaling constraints and unblock accordingly
- Create and refine discounting, bundling, and promotional strategies to improve contribution margin
- Align cross-functional pods (PM, CRO, Design, Development, Marketing) around strategic priorities
- Monthly data analysis, strategic roadmapping, and quarterly business reviews
- Share performance wins, insights, and scalable frameworks across accounts
ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Portfolio-level performance, profitability, and scalability
- Roadmap being implemented by Director of Ecommerce
- Landing page ideation aligned with traffic intent and funnel stage
- Consulted on roadmaps for smaller clients by Director of Ecommerce
- Strategic alignment between client goals and Avenue Z execution
- Data-driven decision-making across all engagements
- Ensuring services deployed are contributing positively to growth and margin
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience scaling at least one 8-figure ecommerce brand ($10M+ annual revenue)
- Demonstrated ownership of full-funnel growth strategy across paid media, CRO, retention, and onsite optimization
- Direct experience building and executing structured CRO roadmaps, including A/B testing frameworks and landing page optimization
- Experience identifying and removing scaling constraints across acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Deep understanding of ecommerce contribution margin, LTV, CAC, MER, and profitability modeling
- Hands-on experience analyzing performance data and translating insights into strategic action
- Experience optimizing discounting, bundling, and promotional strategies without eroding margin
- Experience aligning cross-functional teams around performance priorities (without necessarily being a direct people manager)
COMPENSATION
Job Type: Full-time Employee in Miami Office
Annual Base Salary: $175,000 - $200,000/year
Total compensation: $200,000 - $300,000/year including commissions, bonus, and stock incentives.
