Job Description

We’re looking for Licensed Vocational Nurses who are excited to support Ridgecrest Regional Hospital’s mission and goals while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care. In this role, you’ll work in a team-based, primary care setting serving children with diverse needs and barriers to care, including income, language, and cultural challenges.

You’ll help ensure efficient patient flow through collaboration with clinical and office staff, support the delivery of compassionate care, maintain patient dignity and privacy, and adapt flexibly to departmental needs. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a pediatric clinic setting

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff for smooth clinic flow

• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and RRH’s policies and values

• Assist with asepsis, sterilization, and EMR documentation

• Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure to practice in California

• One year medical office experience preferred

• BLS certification required and maintained thereafter

• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language

• Understanding of asepsis and sterilization principles

• Knowledge of using electronic medical records

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Demonstrated maturity and sound judgment

• Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and co-workers
