As a Shift Supervisor I, youll guide the safety and security team in creating a supportive and structured environment for individuals served. Your leadership will help maintain a therapeutic setting where consistency, accountability, and compassion come together to promote recovery and stability.
What Youll Do
In this role, youll be responsible for planning, directing,
and coordinating the actions of the safety/security team while fostering a
secure and therapeutic environment. Youll lead shift briefings, assign
employees to posts, and ensure staff are equipped to respond to a variety of
situations with professionalism and care. Youll model effective communication
and de-escalation strategies, provide guidance to staff, and help maintain safe
routines for individuals served. Youll also contribute to policy and procedure
development, review and support staff performance, and ensure accurate
documentation that reflects the quality of care provided.
What Were Looking For
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience
- Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare or mental health treatment
setting (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
- One (1) year of supervisory experience (preferred)
Licensing/Certifications
- Certified Correctional Officer status as required by applicable state
commission (required, if applicable)
- Valid state drivers license (required)
