About this position
Essential Functions
- Ability to broil, grille and/or sauté, operation of commercial ovens and fryers.
- Ability to read and follow a kitchen prep list.
- Accurately date all food items.
- Slice, dice, chop and prepare raw food items.
- Maintains par levels of operating supplies and food product for assigned workstation obtaining replacement stock and updating kitchen manager with low inventory items.
- Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each kiosk.
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety.
- Promote rotation of food products using the “First in First out” technique.
- Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations.
- Prepare high quality food items for our guests.
Nonessential Functions
- Perform other duties and responsibilities without being asked.
- Work as a team player by assisting other employees with duties as necessary.
Qualification Standards
- Must be neatly dressed and well groomed in accordance with the company uniform and appearance policies.
- Must be able to stand for 6 – 8 hour shift.
- Must be able to complete all training steps and knowledge checks.
- Must be able to read recipes and par lists.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with kitchen staff and management.
- Must be able to hear well in a loud environment.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs. several times per shift.
