ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform administrative tasks necessary to complete job functions Open an Scan all incoming mail Processing incoming demographic forms Upload images into data management software Scan all processed pension applications Maintain pension filing system Assist with offsite storage inventory Facilitate receipt, opening, sorting, logging, and dissemination of incoming mail and packages, when requested. Perform data entry and maintenance as needed Provide support services on administrative matters and special projects as assigned Train others in performing the responsibilities of this classification, when requested. Communicating with plan participants on the processing of documents Perform all duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervision BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES Punctuality and good attendance required Professional appearance and demeanor required Foster teamwork and display a positive attitude Respectful of others in the workplace Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Exhibit productive mannerisms QUALIFICATIONS High School education with two (2) to five (5) years of general office experience Computer literacy required Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Web Browser, and Email Union experience preferred but not required WORKING CONDITIONS Normal office environment. Lifting of light boxes may be required in the course of organizing, scanning, and copying work in the office. Forty (40) hours constitutes the regular workweek.The workday consists of eight (8) hours with a half an hour (½) or one (1) hour unpaid lunch break.The office incorporates optional flex start times, which begin at 7:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m.The office is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. COMPENSATION LEVEL:  Project Specialist Grade 3 ($22.92/hr)
