Starting Pay: $18–$24 per hour (DOE)

Position Overview

Advanced Heating & Air is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, Part-Time HR Coordinator to support day-to-day Human Resources and safety administration. This onsite role is ideal for a current college student or early-career professional interested in gaining hands-on HR experience.

Current Utah State University students are encouraged to apply.

This position focuses on administrative HR support, onboarding coordination, training tracking, and safety documentation — not full HR generalist responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

HR Support

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain employee records and personnel files
• Support benefits enrollment administration
• Help track timekeeping and payroll changes
• Respond to routine employee HR questions
• Assist with HRIS data entry and record accuracy

Recruiting & Training Support

• Schedule interviews and assist with candidate communications
• Help coordinate new hire paperwork and orientation
• Track training completion and maintain compliance records

Safety & Compliance Support

• Assist with maintaining OSHA logs and safety documentation
• Help coordinate monthly safety meetings and training tracking
• Maintain required compliance files and certifications

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Interest in HR and workplace safety administration

No prior HR experience required — we are willing to train the right candidate.
