As an HVAC Service Technician, you will provide courteous thoughtful service, repair, install, and propose HVAC equipment replacements while following manufacturer recommendations and local codes. You’ll also identify sales opportunities and clearly explain pricing and options to clients.

What you will do

 

Respond promptly to residential service callsDiagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systemsProvide courteous and professional customer servicePropose equipment replacements when appropriateComplete necessary documentationCollect customer paymentsWhat you will need

• Prior experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation (after-hours, weekends, holidays)
• Minimum 6 months of plumbing service/repair experience, 3+ years of experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to work in enclosed spaces
• Able to pass a background check and drug test
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be local or able to commute to Roanoke, VA 24018
