Description:
Mid-Cities Animal Urgent Care is currently looking to add an experienced Veterinary Technician Assistant to our amazing team!
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the hospital
- Wrapping and sterilizing surgical equipment and instruments
- Assisting the veterinary technician to complete treatments as needed
- Canine and feline restraint
- Performing in-house diagnostics
- Preparing medications
- Some clerical work may be required.

A successful, long term candidate will need to:
- Have 1+years of veterinary experience.
- Be able to handle the pace and unpredictability of an Urgent Care practice
- Be a champion multitasker
- Have a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Spanish-speaking preferred but not required
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Veterinary Technicians: 1 year (Required)
- Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)
