Role:

Assists the Lead Office Sales Manager in coordinating the sales culture and sales processes with operational processes and efficiencies; Responsible for directing the operational functions of the branch. Ensures that established policies and procedures are followed. Promotes high morale and exhibits positive attitudes towards members and fellow employees while instilling a sense of team spirit throughout the branch. Perform other duties as assigned.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for complying with all laws, , statues, rules and regulations which govern credit unions, including but not limited to all components of the Bank Secrecy Act provisions of the US Patriot Act.
  • Serve as a relationship sales leader; communicates sales philosophy.
  • Assist Lead Office Sales Manager in preparation of annual evaluations that accurately measure employee performance and provide direction for their future growth and development. Recognize employees who perform at a high level.
  • Set the example of professional behavior and hold employees accountable for their performance, attitude and behavior.
  • Demonstrate enthusiastic support of corporate mission, vision, core values and brand.
  • Train, direct, and supervise MSR staff to effectively sell/refer products and services to members while ensuring quality service standards are being maintained.
  • Maintain a functional level of knowledge and procedural expertise in all credit union products and services. Performs all MSR duties.
  • Handle complaints registered by members involving the branch operations.
  • Communicate goals and direction with MSR staff to ensure clear understanding of rules, regulations, requirements and expectations.
  • Responsible for ensuring that MSR staff follow internal audit, compliance, security measures and operational policies and procedures including but not limited to the prevention of losses through fraudulent activity.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining proper cash controls. Ensure that all branch transactions are balanced for close of day. Ensures dual control procedures are implemented. Periodically conducts MSR and vault cash counts and audit functions according to policy and procedure.
  • Responsible for proper security, control and documentation of all records.
  • Responsible for MSR schedule of work and timecards.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience

Six months to two years of similar or related experience.


Education

(1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
