About this position
• Maintains the machining process with the cell to ensure product quality and productivity.
• Operates any and all machines in assigned area as required to maintain production and will perform deburring as required.
• Uses micrometers, calipers, electronic gages and other precision measuring instruments to check parts as specified by the manufacturing procedures and quality systems control plan.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance with all safety rules, and regulations for the cell and the employees assigned to the cell including lockout / tagout procedures, personal protective equipment, zero set procedures, and general safe operating procedures.
• Respects cycle times and production requirements.
• Responsible for 5s and Housekeeping of his or her area.
• Has the responsibility and authority for quality as delegated by management.
• Wear the appropriate safety equipment at all times, attend scheduled safety meetings, and conduct oneself in a manner respectful to others, equipment, and tools.

Requirements:
EDUCATION LEVEL :
High School Diploma / GED, Employee must have 180 days experience as a machine operator, and successfully complete the formal cell operator training program, or directly related on the job training and experience.
