About this Role: Farmer’s Fridge is entering a period of rapid growth, and we are looking for a a motivated Data Analyst with strong technical skills and business acumen to help turn millions of potential data points into models and actionable insights that can drive product improvements, make our customer acquisition more efficient, improve our customer retention rates, and drive operating efficiencies on our production and logistics teams.
What You’ll Do…
- Pick up and complete analytics requests from teams across the company—sales, operations, finance, supply chain, marketing—helping stakeholders get the data they need to make decisions.
- Build, publish, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau and Hex to give teams visibility into business performance.
- Automate recurring or manual reports so stakeholders spend less time pulling data and more time acting on it.
- Rebuild, retire, or consolidate outdated reports and dashboards to keep our analytics environment clean and trustworthy.
- Migrate reports that currently live in Google Sheets into Tableau or Hex for better scalability, consistency, and self-service access.
- Write and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake and build analytical workflows in Hex to support ad-hoc analysis and scheduled reporting.
- Document data processes, definitions, and solutions to build transparency and enable self-service analytics across the organization.
Who You Are…
- 2–3 years of professional experience in an analytics or BI role at another company.
- Strong SQL skills. Able to write complex queries against a data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar) from day one.
- Proficiency in Tableau. Able to build, publish, and maintain dashboards independently.
- Strong communication skills. Comfortable presenting findings and working with non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow.
- Experience with or interest in analytics engineering concepts (dbt, data modeling, ETL) is a plus but not required.
- Based in Chicago or willing to relocate. This is an in-office role.
Where can this role go?
This role offers two clear growth tracks depending on your interests and strengths:
- Analytics Insights track: Grow from Data Analyst into a Senior Data Analyst, taking on deeper analysis work, trend identification, and strategic advisory for specific business units.
- Analytics Engineering track: Transition into an Analytics Engineer, owning data models, transformations, and the pipeline work that bridges raw data to the consumption layer in Snowflake.
The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. The base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for company performance-based bonuses and equity.
